Piatti Quartet and Pierre Doumenge

Since it was awarded the St Peter’s Prize in 2011/2012, the Piatti Quartet has won second prize in the Wigmore Hall International String Quartet Competition. The quartet is joined by cellist Pierre Doumenge,  to present a programme of string quintets including Schubert’s final work, his String Quintet in C major, widely believed to one of the greatest chamber works ever composed.
