Pieces by Haydn and Beethoven are performed alongside Borodin’s second quartet, which provided many tunes for the 1953 Broadway musical Kismet.

The Halcyon Quartet was formed at the RAM in 2012, and has already performed at the Wigmore Hall, Dartington and for BBC Radio 3.
